The Palio dei Comuni is a very popular Relay event held every year at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, on the eve of the Compeed Golden Gala. Hundreds of boys and girls coming from all over Lazio (the Region whose Rome is the capital city) meet on the red track of the roman stadium, making the afternoon a real athletics party! Every team is composed by 12 members, each one of them running a 200m leg.
